Pastor Emeritus 1988-2017
Bob Bonner is passionate about encouraging others in knowing Jesus Christ in a deeper and more intimate way through his expositional teaching/preaching of God's Word.
He came to know Christ personally during his college years. After graduation from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in economics, he earned a real estate license and worked for a major land development corporation for a short period of time. During that time Bob recognized God's call upon his life to serve as a pastor. He resigned his position to attend Dallas Theological Seminary where he earned a Master of Theology degree. He has pastored in New Jersey and Arizona before setting down roots in Grants Pass in 1986. He has been here ever since.
While in college, he met his wife Becky, who is also passionate about helping women grow as godly wives and mothers. They have been serving Jesus Christ together ever since. They have three children and eight grandchildren.
While not currently serving as an Elder or on Staff, we include his bio here in an endeavor to honor our brother and appreciate his three decades of service at Crossroads.
