For the Glory of the King
In this message, Pastor Ben explores The Book of Esther through Chapter 1 — and shows us God's authority is absolute, other rulers just think their is.
Ever feel like God is absent in the chaos? The Book of Esther never mentions God's name—yet His hand is evident throughout. This ancient story invites us to search for God in our own lives, especially in the hard times.
While King Xerxes displayed his kingdom's wealth for 180 days, even Solomon's splendor couldn't compare to a field of wildflowers. God's glory outshines every earthly kingdom. And here's the beautiful part: we don't submit to God out of fear, but out of joyful response to His sacrificial love. We're no longer slaves—we're sons and daughters, heirs with full access to every spiritual blessing right now.
So ask yourself today: Where do I need to let God be God? Where do I need to see Him moving? Jesus has already won the battle. His authority comes from love, and in submitting to Him, we find true freedom.
